Hi, I’m Bella

Meet Bella, she's a shy but gorgeous kitty that'll need a little time to adjust when you bring her home. We suggest starting her in a small 'launch' room where she can have time to settle before exploring the rest of the house. She'll be a little intimidated by large open spaces. Scratch posts/cat trees, hides (like cardboard boxes and cat igloos), access to shelves/ dressers will all provide her with ample safe spaces, both high and low, all around the house. We recommend a patient and understanding adopter who can recognize that Bella will be timid going into a new environment and may take a little while to settle in before she shows her true self! Ideally teens or older children rather than littlies in the home as the older children will be better equipped to respond to cat body language and know ehn to give them space. She's a rather social kitty, so we feel that Bella would be okay with another cat friend, while being mindful to give them both space to get to know each other. And if there's a calm social dog in the home then monitoring of interactions is recommended to ensure they'll get along.
