Meet Mushu, a Chattering Lory and a definite favourite amongst the care staff!

DNA-sexed female, Mushu absolutely loves having a lot of space to move and flutter around in, thriving in an aviary setting - and, being quite the intelligent and curious creature, also needs a variety of appropriate toys and things to explore to keep her mentally stimulated. One of her favourite toys to play with has been, well, everything! She makes everyone laugh with her antics as she races around, kicking her ball toys around one moment, throwing a gumnut to herself the next, and then you'll look over to see her swinging upside down from a ring set!

While she's not always particularly fond of stepping up, being the strong, independant birb she is, Mushu would make an absolutely gorgeous addition to your aviary and to your family. Our dedicated avian care team have been actively working with Mushu, and the progress she's made is amazing. Not only is Mushu now target trained and is able to voluntarily weigh herself, but she's also been taught how to 'spin'! 𖹭

🦜 Current diet: Passwell Complete Lorikeet, fresh veg chop, native blossoms.
🦜 Average lifespan of species: 25-35 years.
